Hot Tub Hire
26 August
2017

Thank you for hiring a hot tub through Cardiff Event Hire

You have made a good choice in hiring from us. Not only do we offer these fantastic hot tubs but we also offer exceptional customer service, so you can rest assured that you are in good hands.

Whilst you have one of our hot tubs various circumstances can cause them to show an error message - The error will depend on whats caused the message to pop up on the pump so we have put a brief guide below on how to correct any issues

Error E02

This message is a water flow error - Commonly caused because of a dirty filter. We provide brand new filters on every hire and as you use the hot tub they collect and loose grass, hairs, general dirt that gets in to the tub. As they get dirty they start to restrict water flow through the pump.

To resolve this issue, just remove the filter and give it a clean. If the filter has got to dirty a new filter may be needed.

Error E04

This error is usually related to the water temperate and in built thermostat. The best thing to do this case is to follow the instructions in the video below:

You can also follow these steps:

  • Turn the pump unit on at the mains.
  • Press the test button once and leave it bleeping (leave for 10 seconds).
  • Turn the pump unit off and unplug from the socket (leave for 10 seconds).
  • Plug the pump unit back in and turn it back on.
  • Press the thermal reset button for 10 seconds using a pencil or screwdriver
  • Once done, press the heater button. Your pump should now be working.

Error E08

This error means the thermostat needs to be reset. Please follow the below instructions:

  • Turn the pump unit on at the mains.
  • Press the test button once and leave it bleeping (leave for 10 seconds).
  • Turn the pump unit off and unplug from the socket (leave for 10 seconds).
  • Plug the pump unit back in and turn it back on.
  • Press the thermal reset button using a pencil or screwdriver
  • Once done, press the heater button. The pump should now be working.

The above error messages are the common ones that these hot tubs pick up. On occasions new message may pop up, we recommend turning the tub off at the wall socket for 5 minutes then turning it back on. If that does not resolve any problems then please let us know
